Out of recognition of India’s existing market environment and its impact on the fashion and luxury goods industry, Ermenegildo Zegna’s Spring/Summer 2009 ad was presented in Jaipur, India’s Rajasthan Rajasthan. The capital was photographed and became the first men's luxury brand to have the opportunity to shoot international advertising in India.

Ermenegildo Zegna's pioneering spirit and entrepreneurial roots began in 1910, when young Ermenegildo Zegna sought to create high-quality men's fashion fabrics by seeking the best raw materials from far-flung countries such as Australia, Tibet, Peru, and New Zealand. So that can compete with the British wool fabrics.

With the aim of innovation and leadership, continuous cycle of trade, production and exchanges, through the efforts of four generations of Zegna family members, has achieved today's great cause. In the spring and summer of 2008, Zegna became the first men's luxury brand to shoot international advertisements in China. The autumn/winter 2008/09 ad was shot in Berlin, symbolizing the entrance of European new culture. In the twinkling of an eye, Zegna came to Jaipur, known as the "Pink City."
